Free Tip: How to Track and Find Facebook Chat History

NOTE: Chat history will only begin to be saved after installing the extension, so any chats you’ve had before installing the extension will not be available.

  1. Download and install Firefox, then install the Facebook Chat History Manager extension (see Resources).
  2. Restart Firefox and select “Tools,” “Facebook Chat History Manager” and “Create Account” to set up your Facebook chat history account.
  3. Select “Tools,” “Facebook Chat History Manager,” “View History” to view your chat transcripts.

Enjoy!  Alternatively, if you use Digsby or Trillian, you get this built in.
